    And so you would think the Chinese government would, out of embarrassment that this has happened in their capital to their valued guests with whom they want to curry the very best relationships, investigate to high standards and determine where these emails came from. Yes?

    And all our experts are busy in other parts of the government...

      Does Mossad always plant evidence pointing to the British, or was it just that one time when they killed the guy?

      Or else this time it IS us. Gosh.

      The thing is... when you set off an attack like this, presumably you do it in the expectation that it -will- be detected and analysed and published by global computer security experts - it'll be made public?

      Oh, well. One other thing, was it only foreign journalists that got this stuff, or was it sent to everybody in China? Everybody?

    Not really,

    while the server is located in the UK, theres a good chance the title deeds for that part of the UK actually belong to the Chinease until the loan taken out for the Olympic Lanes is paid off.
