No VMware, your monster will become niche like the mainframe as you keep the price high and the features have stopped coming. All the mucking around with licensing has started to drive people to Hyper-V and the price will keep people running away. You may have an easier to use product, but that's no longer an issue for most people.

"Back in 2008, we were asking ourselves what the hell it is," Maritz quipped when referring to the cloud. "And now we are asking ourselves how we can do it."
Should he really be saying things like that? After all their #1 competitor, Microsoft, have been-there, done-that and are have been selling the t-shirt since all the way back in 2008 and yet VMWare apparently still haven't got a clue how to do it.
Is their VMWare monster actually a dangerously-close-to-extinction dinosaur by any chance?
