Logos - the good, the bad, the ugly
The two biggest beasts in the storage jungle have the blandest logos - yes, EMC and VMware. HP and NetApp have refreshed their logos and they look good, much better than the dull previous versions.
Shouild EMC and VMware refresh their logos too, or do logos simply not matter enough to bother? Would Google have been such a success without its catchy appealing eye-candy logo? Does a bland and boring logo betoken a serious attitude towards business?
Which is the best storage supplier logo of all?
I'd vote for Symantec's yellow and grey ball.
