    Both versions of IE?

The question is...does it affect the 32-bit version of IE9 *and* the 64-bit version? One wonders also if Java is in the mix.

    Symptoms of failure?

In the last few weeks my Opera (only ever use it) install on W7x64 has been failing when attempting to visit NetBank. It stalls attempting to load the login screen most of the time and if I can get it past that then it stalls attempting to login.

This was fine until some weeks ago, and the Tablet version (which you can log into on desktop) has no issue with it at all.

Wonder if this is the same issue..?

Damn, there goes my chance at an excuse

Today I squeezed blood out of rocks to get a CBA bpay payment through (else I'd likely be nadless tomorrow), and now I find I could have used this as my "excuse" for deferring the payment till tomorrow. Still, likely wouldn't have helped, they don't care about things like that. . . . "But Sir, it looks like you use Firefox 11 on Ubuntu..." :(

Wonder if it's a CSS/Javascript issue (I run the NetBank site fine without Java or Flash).

    People still use IE?

I've been using Firefox on Win7x64 without any problems with the CBA.

As excuses go, IE not working with the CBA isn't much of one. This isn't 2000 when the choices were IE or a broken release of Netscape.

    How to fix Netbank problem

To fix make sure TLS 1.2 is disabled in IE. TLS 1.1.is fine as it falls back to 1.0. but use TLS 1.2 and you get failure.

Chrome and Firefox work becuase they don't know how to do TLS 1.2
