Does this mean we have to use the compound 'grown-up', when referring to things not childish or adolescent, if we wish not to be misinterpreted as talking about something erotic? We can't use the word 'mature', because that now seems to mean '40 years of age and older', rather than 15-24 years of age (dependant on context)?

And all of them completely irrelevant. I haven't seen a single site on the xxx domain or any ads pointing to such domains during my onanistic surfing.

Surely there are enough! Or, lets go the whole hog and get rid of ICANN and just let everyone have their own top level domain.

We seem to be moving in the direction of anything as a TLD. The happy outcome of that would be that defensive registrations wouldn't be necessary anymore.

Not to mention that some are already in use.

ICANN isn't the only root in the world, just the most widely used.

.xxx and several of the other TLDs were in happy use by Alternate roots for some time.

Hopefully most credible companies will wise up to the scam before much longer.
