    This is news?

Since at least November, Orange have had a deal on the SGSII, with more minutes, and data for £26 and no up front.

      free.... dont make me laugh

Over two years the cost to you will £600 plus vat, they don't do this to lose money. They will also gain if you use more than 100mins or the dat allowance which is low.

The phone is also due for a replacement or update.

So this phone is free for only £720 inclusive, great deal.

    WTF?

    And why's that news?!

I've seen plenty of deals with no upfront fee at that price.

In fact I got an S2 a few months back via Tesco's Mobile shop (actually on T-Mobile) for no upfront fee and with more minutes and data than that for £20 a month..

    FAIL

Can be had much much cheaper...

Alternatively you can find this phone with double the minutes and triple the data for £17.88 a month with line rental redemption, even without the hassle of the redemption it's only £26 a month and on a network that's not a complete travesty.

Good try at bagging yourself a freebie though

    Better deals elsewhere...

There's been better deals for the S2 way before Christmas. I got an unbranded S2 under Orange Panther for 26/month, with more data and texts, plus additional cashbacks. With Orange Panther swappables you can get a Deezer subscription for free as well, which means I have my music sorted for the next two years...
