Missed a trick
'Spokesnudist', surely?
A group of Surrey naturists is looking for an accommodating farmer, after their landlord refused to renew the lease on their old site. The Surrey Downs Sun Club leased their site from a holiday and residential company, which has decided to expand its own facilities at the Farley Green site, the Surrey Advertiser reports. The …

If I remember correctly they were concerned that after the tower was built, someone would complain about all the naked people their little 5 year daughter can see from their window and then the site would be shutdown.
I.e. that the tower development was the first step to evicting them by the back door.
If the naturists got into calenders one would think they would come out all flat and smooth...

"There's a proliferation of stupid comments around here today"
But surely that was the idea behind the article, right?
I mean, an article about a landlord refusing to renew a lease, in Bootnotes?! Ah, but the leaseholders were nudists. Now, what sort of comments were being invited here then? Clearly, not discussing the intricacies of property law?
"110 naturists look for friendly farmer"
What did you expect? You can't write an article sniggering about nudists and then expect us sheep to restrain ourselves.
I'm already expecting some shining wit to respond pointing out I mentioned nudists and sheep in the same post.
Naturists get a particularly bad deal all round. Continually harassed by police and local councils who don't actually know what the law is. Victims of stupid infantile sniggering in the media. Landlords that run roughshod over their rights the moment the smell money. Even developers that infiltrate clubs to get enough members so they can vote the club into selling off its land.
The naturists I know are just about the nicest people I've ever met.
As an ex-member of this particular club, I can say that they were a nice bunch of people with nothing but the best of intentions and motives. It is fair to say that the time that the club has existed is a positive testament to this.
Any attempt to gain a cheap laugh at them or their chosen lifestyle is really pathetic.
In other words, "Grow Up and stop acting like snickering school children."
