This is an absolute outrage!!!!!!!!

This is a flagrant case of animal cruelty, and I hope the guilty are tracked down and reported to the columbian version of the RSPCA for this. Overloading a pigeon is extremely serious and cruel.

And I wonder why Tyrone Dobbs wondered why those spanish blokes were willing to pay so much money for Jack's pigeons....

Next time they ought to train the pigeons a bit more - get them working out in an avian gym.

That or use bigger pigeons - the wood pigeons round here look like they could easliy carry half a kilo.

Either that or the pigeon had a sample of the weed and just couldn't be arsed to fly. If it had got at the coke it would have overshot the prison.

It's all because they don't have adequate net provisioning!

How much would it cost for open areas to be netted over? That would be an instant cure for everything from pigeon packet post to phones and drugs - any packet bigger than a dime, anyway - lobbed over the wall. It wouldn't help prisoners wanting to head in the other direction, too.

Actually, chicken-wire seems most appropriate...

Don't you know, there is a large bird that can easily carry a baby rabbit that migrates from Brazil to where I live in the UK.
