240x320 Screen

Much as I like the idea that Android is getting a bit more exposure, buyers of this handset (and others like it) are going to be disapointed when they realise that a LOT of the apps in the Android Market are simply not available to devices with screens of 240x320 - it's a huge step backwards in screen size and is adding to the (already awful) fragmentation of Android.

Processor problem

The device, apparently, uses an ARM v6 processor, and so will never "benefit" from Flash (which needs an ARM v7 CPU, as used in recent Android devices), even if it does get Android 2.2.

HTC Wildfire

Pity, I was hoping Huwaei had improved on the T-Mobile Pulse as I'm in the market for a cheap Android handset. Any chance of a HTC Wildfire review?

Why

Why waste money on this. You can buy a basic nokia 5230 for just over £60 and get 640*320 res if you need some for net.

I got the HTC Desire only £30 for it and t-mobile only has a fair use of 3GB per month on it.

and if you look at mobiles dot co dot uk you can get them for loads less on most networks..

Needs to be cheaper or PAYG for that spec really.

Quiet disappointing really. For £20 a month T-Mobile's been offering the Desire for £35 recently (didn't really look into what it comes with but would suspect not much for that price). And for the dif in price and spec that's got to be a seriously better buy. Guess HTC are clearing the shelves though for the new dual core 1.5GHz line of phones they've got coming soon...kind of insane thinking about that kind of processing power in your pocket, it's like having 4 working Iphone 4's :P

Fingers crossed though this won't sell well as most users will get a proper Android phone!
