    Was about Time

    Once upon a time was done years ago when AIX was available on floopies and a PS/2 now it allows developers with small budgets to acquire this excellent hardware widening the base of developers for this market.

    The same thing needs to be done for System I as well. A small config with a limited work load and a single or double user license for the development toolset and OS. This will replenish the already depleted based of AS/400 skills.
