They are the largest overall market who will also spend all of their money on it. Essentially they're the same ones who were the early adopters when Sky first launched because Sky had bigger pockets than either the BBC or ITV.
Personally I'm not even remotely interested in either the technology of these 3D-effect systems or the content, so it'll be a net saving for me when I don't pay the extra for the channels.
Given the effect that alcohol has on people's ability to see straight I can't see how much use this will be in pubs, though.
