I read this elsewhere earlier and its wound me right up!!

He shouldnt have been allowed day release. I cant get day release from work to attend a work related course once a week, so why is he allowed out of prison?

The police have said they are regularly checking his known addresses to see if he turns up. Why dont they stop wasting time and money and just get his IP address from facebook and track him that way? Surely this will be quicker and easier.

Technology now allows us to convict people of crimes they committed 30 years ago, and yet we can't catch one idiot who is stupid enough to taunt the police on facebook on a regular basis.

.... or maybe not as the only useful info in this situation : the geographic location of his logged IP, is already as traceable as its going to get!!

So long as he keeps jumping to different internet cafes then he can continue to evade our luddite cops.

At least get the IP address. Yes, he might be using Tor or only public access points, but sooner or later he'll screw up.
