    Looks like...

    Adobe is more than well on its way to becoming the new Microsoft... the Flash player is as big a monopoly now as anything else. And as much as people bitch about M$'s pricing on products, Adobe knows it has a lock on the market for a lot of its software and they charge accordingly. For example: MS Office Pro Plus 2007 educational license- $51. Adobe Web Standard CS4 educational license - $220. Web Standard basically consists of Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks - they want $999 for the full retail version. Seriously, just for web page design software? That's just freaking insane....
