How much is the rent on a LGM30 site?

    How Cool

For those monopoly lovers this is just heaven....I could actually own the world....Mwhahaha No seriously this is a new out look on a really good board game, they came up with the weird versions of it but the original game still rules

    @Peter Murphy

And you'd be most welcome to it!

I'm having the Pan-American highway unless you call me on a 54km technicality in which case I'll have the St Petersburg-Vladivostok.

Bell End would go rather well with the Mincing Lane next to it

I'd prefer Worldwide online Mornington Crescent

With of course the Reverse Sequence Queensbury Rules, with Black forced to sidestep on a Reciprocal Intermediate Turn...

    Fail

Obviously didn't expect more than 10 people to play, as the site is isn't handling it very well.

Wouldn't that put you in "spoon" south of the river? Or are we playing Crockston's variation?

    Overloaded already

Didn't take long for it to be overloaded I see. It's pretty obvious a fucktonne of people were going to start a land grab on day 1 of launch.

    Belly up already.....

Just went to have a look at the website and got the following (and more):

    *****************

    Apache 2 Test Page

    powered by CentOS

This page is used to test the proper operation of the Apache HTTP server after it has been installed. If you can read this page it means that the Apache HTTP server installed at this site is working properly.

The fact that you are seeing this page indicates that the website you just visited is either experiencing problems or is undergoing routine maintenance.

    ************ etc. etc.....

Can anyone launch a website nowadays without it going belly up on the first second?

    FAIL

    Another example....

...of loads of PR coverage and spin and a site that fails as soon as three people and a hamster (technologically literate, these small furry rodents, don't you know) log onto it. And yet....in London, Baker Street, Regent St, Oxford St, Marylebone Rd, Etc (you get the picture) have all already been sold. Without the site working. WTF?

    Meh. Doesn't work = can't be bothered.

    Borked

The game is borked beyond compare, slow as hell and when you do manage to get in it comes up with a server error.

"Sorry, your country is not supported yet."

Erm, I live in Australia. You know, the former British colony that is part of the Commonwealth and allied to the UK and US? The one that was the third nation to launch a rocket into space after the USSR and US? Yes, that Australia.

But we're not allowed to play monopoly, though I bet our streets are available for US and UK residents to buy.

    Epic fucking fail.
