    No mention of 'Beer'?

    How can you pass up the fact that the Discovery astronauts have been sent out to retrieve some beer? Albeit, the 'beer' in question is a chunk of limestone from the village of Beer, near Lyme Regis, but still. For shame, Register.

    Really bright launch

    I watched it from my back yard in Orlando, and even that far away the SRB flame was seriously bright. For a very long time after SRB sep, you could see two little bright red dots fall away from the brighter white blob of the SSMEs. Much fun!
