    A massive waste of time

    "...a 3D model of the car’s surroundings...Fraunhofer Institute’s dashboard would be much larger and, we assume, show a more realistic view of the road in front of and around the driver."

    God forbid any drivers actually look out the WINDOW to see what's around them.

    Pretty graphics, and very detailed. All that eye candy wouldn't be a distraction for the driver, would it??

    Paris because she's easily distracted by 3D rendered objects standing upright in front of her, also.

    3d WHY?

    And what exactly is the purpose of having a second 3d view (the first 3d view, of course is the one you get by looking out the f-ing window!)?

    What possible functionality does this provide? And at what cost?
