    It's happening

I don't know the full details, but I know some teams are being halved. The workers leave thurs/fri. This is no axe swing...

    I wonder

Does the fact that their service has almost ground to a halt recently mean anything?

Last week, my other half was regularly finding that folk had txted her in the morning and nothing was delivered until well into the evening.

Your call centre is now in India

Suppose I should move to India, seems to be the IT hub and where micropayments could take off. Not much left here in the UK....

Anyone want to buy a house...

    No?

    Go

    Join the union sharpish

Anyone with a shred of sense will join the professionals' union Connect - http://www.connectuk.org/

Who knows what good people they'll try and make redundant. Unless you're really good on employment law, you need a union negotiator on your side to make sure you don't get shafted.

    The future's grim

What's the score for the fake tan merchants? Do I detect a bony figure atop of ghostly horse heading west along the M4?

    I'll buy your house

I know 4 families of Eastern Europeans I can cram into it.

    Maybe...

They should sort out their price plans which are utterly shocking and then they would have more customers - compared to other networks, vodafone is the most expensive...

... Anyone who advertises a plan as UNLIMITED TEXTS when in fact its only 3000 as this is their cap deserves to go tits up - least dick turpin worse a mask!!

    Existing Customers

"new boss Vittorio Colao has been talking about squeezing more money from existing customers rather than increasing market share"

Hmm... Which is presumably why after a quick phone call in which I never once mentioned leaving Vodafone I now pay less per month, have unlimited internet (I know, I know) where before I had none, have more minutes and more texts? Oh, and I dropped from an 18 month contract to a 12 month one, how retro.

Someone needs to have a sit down with their call centre staff.

    Clam.
