ulcerative?
"ulcerative" (first sentence) is actually a very good description!
Microsoft is giving its Windows Live services a social networking makeover in the hope of being a contender in the ulcerative Web 2.0 world. The firm gave its somewhat unwieldy Windows Live services the red carpet treatment late yesterday, placing a big emphasis on how it plans to make its online offerings more “in sync” with …
Look, I just want to carry on using my Hotmail, as best as I can since you fucked with it again. I don't want to integrate Instant Messaging - I don't use Windows Live Messnger, AIM, ICQ etc. I don't want to integrate social networking sites - I don't use FaceSpace or MyBook. I don't want to integrate picture albums - I keep them on my hard drive, thanks. I don't want to integrate my Amazon account - I haven't used it since that Print on Demand debacle earlier in the year.
Nor do I wish to integrate my toileting routine (930-945 every morning, thanks for asking) to "enhance my experience". The only thing that would ehance my experience there is a PSP. So forget that one before you start, you fuckers.
So can I PLEASE just have a working e-mail? Pretty please?
its just staggering that a company with mountainous resources available to it as microsoft does can still mis-judge the core needs and habits of its users so spectaculary. One not so little bug ive noticed with this version is that i can no longer view the folders pane once ive restored the browser window
I really try and be fair to MS, try their products without being too critical.
Their officelive for small business is actually a decent offering, like a free sharepoint, but God help you if you have a technical or account problem, they must send the support ticket to MSN USA clueless team that repeat your question like a droid, tell you what you know already, don't resolve the problem after several weeks...
But another major problem is their mail account is actually a live / hotmail account, and they pass you through completely un-seamlessly, the journey must be like going through a wormhole and ending up in another universe, the one of Jo Public Live Services, made of candy floss, pastel shades, more clueless androids.
All that money, but all that waste...must have far too many useless MBA graduates working for them, devoid of any understanding of the real world, just perpetuating clueless theories.......
