Choking Back the Tears
God, I loved every minute of that. I can't wait for the next installment.
A video showing one Tricia Walsh-Smith bemoaning her treatment at the hands of her estranged husband, Broadway executive Philip Smith, has delighted YouTubers and struck fear into the hearts of lawyers who've described the outburst as a "scary, new step" in acrimonious divorces: Crikey. According to Local6.com, Walsh-Smith' …
Especially seeing as a couple of minutes in she says that they haven't had sex. That would be grounds for annullment, not divorce.
Getting a pre-nuptial agreement from a smart lawyer: $a few k
Your estranged wife telling the world you were never married before the case has even got to court: Priceless
"Hi I'm Hilary and I'm in New York, but I should be in the Whitehouse, I was married to a President and when things went bad, I didn't get the Presidency.
When we got married he made me agree to this 'constitution' which meant the Presidency went to the next elected leader, but I think that it should be mine.
I asked him what would happen if he dies, and he said the Presidency would go to election, but I don't control the election, so I asked to please make sure it goes to me instead. Now I find out he was stumfing his assistant because he claims I'm such a bitch and I'm fighting (cry) back (cry) because that Presidency should be mine and not Obama's. I am so stupid for agreeing to this 'constitution'. "
And she's blonde, which must really annoy real women too. Don't worry though, ladies, we realise that there are deeper unresolved personal issues, which may leave one cold, at their work.
She's been busy recently, has Ms Walsh-Smith......... http://www.playbill.com/news/article/110128.html .... and I think it best not to comment on the Headline for she may just be suffering for her Addiction. ....... http://www.triciawalshsmith.com/tricia2008_002.htm.
"Crikey. According to Local6.com, Walsh-Smith's lawyer insisted she acted out of passion and described her as "a victim who is holding her head up"."
She needs to get herself another lawyer for according to her own testimony, there is no passion and holding heads up was never an issue.
Digging for Gold must surely be her next Play.
And the skull and bones because Toxic Waste is dangerous and Hell hath no Fury ... and are there any lawyers posting here, who would say that the video categorically shows the grounds for divorce?
Best argument in favor of the single life - avoiding blondes - avoiding nutters - swearing off women forever - etc, etc I think I've ever seen/heard.
And you know what? I'll bet, even after she's done this international ad warning the male sex about herself, some stupid bastard will hook up with her when it's all over...
Crystal clear what this fruitcake is about. Money. I want more! more! more!
However what would be a far more scarier episode is the behaviour and blatant lying of the lawyers in court, for money.
PS to aManfromMars. You are way, way above me in inteligence, but may i just say how much more intelligent you sound ( read ) when you post as above. It seems to be a new trend , keep it up.
is she retarded or something (oh sorry yeah she's BLOND, but being british is no excuse for not having more than 1 brain cell)
So obviously she didn't get a Lawyer to check over the Pre-Nup, which obviously has so many get out clauses you'd be supprised if Santa and his sleigh, along with Bing Crosby and Co.(singing white xmass) wasn't in there as well.
Jeeez any half cracked-up Lawyer would have spotted it was a stitch-up from the word go and would have given her a slap to wake her up to the fact she was walking into a contract that would have made (add any leading Musicians name, thats run afoul of the music industry here) go Squeek!.
i wonder if it had the 20year clause (if i'm still with you after 20years, i have the right to dump ur ass on the street pennyless and run off with the next 20year old that catches my eye) which is standard practice in the music/movie industry these days(seems in political circles as well..)
.... mines the one drapped over the hottie brunnett wearing the see thorough dress hanging off my arm.... :D
hey! no flash photos, (she is'nt wearing undies ;p)
I mean... seriously. She must have *approved* the final cut before it was uploaded. WTF was she thinking as she was watching it? "Yeah, that's good. People will really sympathise!"
And she's admitting in hard evidence that the marriage was never consumated, therefore, the marriage is not legally binding, and can be anulled by either party at any time.
Effectively, that makes her a squatter.
IT? because.... well... other than the gossamer thin reference to youtube, it's not really IT news, is it? Not that I actually care; I read The Reg for its pure entertainment value! :D
That's because in divorcing circles the phrase fair means "The woman has a fair ly f*cking huge amount of money to live on."
My sister in law's a child abuser, and she mentally tortured my brother in law just to enjoy building him back up again. (sleep depravation, you name it.) On the first day I met her after she'd had her first child, she told me privately that she'd never loved my brother in law's first two children (whom she was de facto mother to.) She convinced them to stop visiting their real mother at weekends. When her step daughter turned up at my house aged fifteen, it transpired she'd not left her room for five years, because every time she did she was called a slut by my sister in law.
When the divorce was inevitable, my sister in law reversed the behaviour for a year, so my niece was on the side of the mother, and she rang up his other ex wife to complain that it was him, not her that didn't want contact.
She's got the house, and 60% of his income, essentially by crying in court.
Her sister's no better, she's planning to leave her husband when her kid's left school. She's been publicising her contribution (in reality all she does is spend the money,) to his multimillion pound business, and he's been humouring her with what he thinks are cost free comments. I can't wait to see his face when she pulls out all the articles from the glossies where he's said "I couldn't have done any of this without my wife. We're a team."
If I remotely liked the chap, I'd warn him, but I've decided to wait until the trial to tell him his sister in law told me when she was drunk, that his wife has been planning this for years. Hilarious.
While many people would react violently to the ineffable moral grey; you don't really seem to consider the individual. The flamboyance is appealing to some, even though personally I would rather marry a bucket.
Besides, it's not like the evil mr Smith isn't trying to divorse her now. Maybe her marbles once were all in the right place - far away from mysticue of cards and youtube.
I would bet an afformentioned pot of gold, that she's not only tipsy in this video, but have been self-medicating for a while. It's almost painful to watch her struggle to remain her former self by attempting to insult her husband's sexually private endevours.
But pray tell, is youtube the only it angle? Because then you should see that one cute kitten...
....is still only after the money by fair means or foul !! At least the real prostitutes provide a service for their money and don't leave you feeling like a piece of poo afterwards !!
This is a perfect argument for legalising prostitution !! Level playing field and all !!
when it zooms in on that picture and it says "bad man" or whatever, doesnt half look to me like Count Arthur Strong - http://www.komediaentertainment.com/count_arthur_strong/
btw why did she hire a camera crew so useless they couldn't fix the aspect ratio into widescreen letterboxed before uploading to you tube?
Oh, I'm just _wetting_ myself with sympathy for the paltry three quarters of a million quid she'll be left with, and that's only if she loses. However will she survive? How will she pay for reproducing that godawful interior design all over her tiny bedsit in Hackney, and more importantly, will it have enough wall space to fit all her gaudily-framed self-important posters?
Surely young Kanye has something to say about all of this.

I've seen comments to the effect that if they never had sex the marriage was never consumated, therefore grounds for annulment, not divorce. I don't believe that she means that they have "never" had sex. I believe that she's saying that they haven't been having sex, at least not together, in quite some time. Ergo the frustration at finding the Viagra, porn, and condoms. I understand her consternation, but I sure as Hell wouldn't want to be married to her. Or, maybe I was?

That is hardly true, Plankmeister, whenever ITs Shared News and NeuReal Sourcing is so far ahead in both IT and the Great Game.

Pure entertainment value is surely a misspoken DisService, and I would wish to shoot such a slight down in flames, but would be happy to agree with you on Pure EduTainment with AIdD Added Value.
All Work and No Play makes Jack a dull Boy to Jill. And it is Friday, so you can always XXXXpect "Something for the Weekend, Sir?
And together, it's a lethal combination leading to excruciatingly embarrassing online videos that you will spend the rest of your life regretting.
But the misogynist comments above explain why women get so mental. Many marriage amongst the rich are a deal: you look good and give sex on demand, and I will support you. That kind of marriage, and sadly many marriages, are based on that. It is prostitution, and men, being the johns, hold the power.
There are some marriages that are not that, but are unions of two minds, two hearts. Lucky are those who have this. Sad and degrading for all those married people who don't.
I feel a mixture of sadness joy but ultimately, shame for watching such tripe.
I only hope she gets what she deserves in life ... for all we know that might well be a wad of the guys money and a few houses, etc.
Of course it might also be a suitcase of her clothes and a train ticket back to Guildford.
I hate idiots.
