I did miss the liberation of "mobe" from the festering pit in which it belongs. In my defence, I did read Lester Haines' original article but to be honest I didn't have a clue what he was on about.

It has a cool name, what more dya need, they still advertice for developers therefore I assume its needing to lose a few project managers, or those who were manging the 'offshore' experience......Which I heard was a bit well...Needful....

Not PMs

Picsel are not hiring developers, and 10% is way too high to be accounted for simply by 'middle management' or project managers. Also, most of the hits to date are in the UK.

50% of R&D have been let go

18 from Reading, and another 30 from Glasgow and Edinburgh including everyone they hired over the previous 6 months (because they were still on one weeks notice).

No redundancy package, so I expect most of them will be dishing on this crummy company and their bug-ridden product any day now.
