It's surely a dodgy robo-algorithm with programming to down vote without commentary or explanation that which it fails to comprehend but weirdly dislikes for whatever reason which is to remain unknown to everyone, AC. :-)

They also cover AI-generated or manipulated text published to inform the public on matters of public interest, unless it has undergone human review or editorial control, as well as emotion recognition and biometric categorization systems.

My prediction is that low-paid employees will be paid to "review" the AI-generated text, with the pay rate linked to how many are actually approved.

I see an enforcement problem coming...

...not that I don't agree with the principle, but surely anything that's not really obviously AI generated - things that are intended to mislead - well, misrepresentation can already be a criminal offense under certain circumstances. "That's AI generated!" "No it isn't." "Is." "Prove it" and... how, exactly? How do you prove that an image has been doctored?

I'm glad they're trying, but I see this getting messy.
