And to think to deploy time and effort and resources to attack them, will result in one's own demise in sweet suicidal self-destructions, so making that particular and peculiar virtual intelligence exercise, the most stupid and catastrophic of real time moves in action.

Defending the indefensible is a sub-prime folly for prime fools. Do yourself a great favour and don’t go there, ever, for AI and IT folk and their machines there take no prisoners.

Nope, just really busy with having IRL fun over the weekend. Besides, the article is such a compilation of the obvious and the well known that I simply could not be asked to comment on it.

To paraphrase DNA, the internet has become truely a foreign country - they do things exactly the same. Just like our ancestors in the neolithicum we need to be careful and watch out for the ravenous beasts with claws and fangs.

Its the business that counts

Best thing? Look at protecting your business, not your perimeter. They overlap up-to a point, but no more.

No one quotes the machines that have compromised. Everyone quotes the business losses, the loss of business value and the inevitable 'change of career'. Its the business that matters, the IT is only there to underpin it.
