Deny it if will, but prevent it you cannot.
All those who dabble in cyber security need, in order to be in any way effective and relevant in the field, to understand the significance and the overwhelming power which control in the following discipline delivers to Controllers .......... " Governments of all ideological persuasions spend a great deal of time worrying about how the economy will develop in the short term, over the next couple of years…. But our representatives do not merely contemplate the short-term future, they seek to influence it. Elaborate forecasts are prepared, not just by governments but by academic institutions and commercial companies. Advice is freely offered as to how the prospects for the economy can be improved, by an alteration to income tax rates here, or a touch of public expenditure there. But the control which governments believe they have—in their ability to make reasonably accurate forecasts and to understand the consequences of policy changes designed to alter their outcome—is largely illusory."....Paul Ormerod, Butterfly Economics: A New General Theory of Social and Economic Behavior.
Of course, that was written twelve years ago at least, and things have changed considerably in that space of time, and one is better advised to accept that the control which governments believe they have, and which they would wish the masses to believe they have, is quite delusional and a large illusion supplied/afforded to them by IT and Media Space Controllers who would be tailoring reality virtually and feeding new seeds with novel needs and source streams.
